Size is assessed on a consolidated basis. If your business is part of a group or has linked enterprises, the combined headcount, turnover and balance sheet are used to determine your category.

Your business must be registered in Malta or Gozo to be eligible for these schemes.
To benefit from these schemes, your business must be established in Malta or Gozo as a limited liability company, partnership, co-operative, or VAT-registered self-employed operator.
Step 3 of 5
Some schemes require a minimum trading period, and the start-up track (which carries higher aid rates) is available to micro and small enterprises only.
