Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 May 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Bastion Advisory ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use bastionadvisory.eu. We are committed to handling your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Maltese data protection law.

1. Data controller

The data controller is Bastion Advisory, operating at bastionadvisory.eu. For data-related enquiries, contact us at [email protected].

2. What data we collect and why

Contact form. When you submit a message via the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. This data is processed by Formspree (formspree.io) on our behalf and used solely to respond to your enquiry. Legal basis: legitimate interests (responding to a direct request).

Analytics and advertising cookies (Meta Pixel). With your consent, we use the Meta Pixel — a tracking tool operated by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd — to measure the effectiveness of content and understand how visitors interact with this site. This may involve the collection of browsing behaviour, device identifiers, and IP address. Legal basis: consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking "Decline" on the cookie banner or clearing your browser's local storage.

We do not collect data through the early-access notification forms — submissions are acknowledged client-side only and are not stored or transmitted.

3. Third-party processors

  • Formspree (formspree.io) — processes contact form submissions. Subject to their own privacy policy.
  • Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd — processes Pixel data when consent is given. Subject to Meta's Data Policy.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. — provides DNS, CDN, and SSL services. May process IP addresses as part of network routing. Subject to Cloudflare's privacy policy.

4. How long we keep your data

Contact form submissions are retained by Formspree in accordance with their own retention policy. We do not maintain a separate copy of form submissions unless we have an ongoing business relationship with you. Pixel data is retained by Meta in accordance with their data retention policies.

5. Your rights under GDPR

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Object to or restrict processing
  • Withdraw consent at any time (for consent-based processing)
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

6. Supervisory authority

If you are based in Malta or the EU and believe your data has been handled unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC), the Maltese data protection supervisory authority.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
